I am passionate about empowering women to take control of their financial well-being.

Sixty-one percent of women would rather talk about their own death than money.

This statistic is alarming. Without a positive financial outlook, women lack agency to control their choices, their future, and their lives! Finances for Feminists is built to be a safe space where we can pivot towards financial empowerment for women. It starts with each of us.

Have you ever said these things to yourself?

The financial challenges for women are real. The wage gap, the pink tax, the debt gap, and the domestic gap are just some of the systemic barriers that have held women back from achieving financial equality.

  • I am so behind in saving for retirement. I feel paralyzed and ashamed.

  • Even if I enjoy the things I spend money on, I feel guilty about them. I always feel like I should be doing something differently with my money.

  • I don’t know what to do with my savings. I don’t know if I am saving enough or in the right ways. I don’t know who to talk to and I don’t know where to start.

You are not alone. If you want to feel in control and make a change towards your own financial empowerment you have come to the right place.

I am not going to tell you to stop buying your lattes. What I am going to ask is that you approach your finances with an open mind. That you ask yourself:

What are my most important life values and how can my money help me live more fully?

We’ll work together to identify your financial stressors, current obstacles and any money attitudes you want to change. I’ll be there to support you and guide you through the process. Most importantly at the end of our sessions, you’ll walk away with a concrete action plan and leave behind the old shame and guilt.

Now is the best time to take ownership of your financial future!
